gaits in glass
  1
These Tiffany-style stained glass panels are made from baroque style glass with colorful swirls that are intrinsic to the glass .
    2
Once a pattern has been designed and drawn, the right piece of glass is carefully selected from a sheet of glass, cut and ground to fit the specific piece of the pattern
    3
The edges of the individual pieces of glass are covered with copper foil and tack- soldered in place.
    4
When soldering is completed the silver colored solder bead can be colored with a patina to match the piece and the frame.
    5
In this picture a copper patina is shown to match the copper colored metal frame but other colors are available.
